The pastor and the herbalist

 In a quiet village surrounded by thick forest, there lived a respected pastor known for his deep faith and unwavering devotion to God. Not far from the village, an herbalist—often called an “aberlist”—was feared for his mysterious powers and dark practices. Many villagers believed he could control spirits and influence destinies. One day, a challenge arose. The herbalist, proud of his powers, openly declared that no one in the village could stand against him. Fear spread quickly, but the pastor remained calm. He called the people together and encouraged them to trust in God, reminding them that no power is greater than the name of Jesus. The herbalist prepared his charms and incantations, determined to prove his strength. But the pastor went into prayer, fasting and calling on the name of Jesus Christ. Danger Of Disobedience

  He woke up suddenly he felt empty he tried to pray but he couldn't find his voice all he could do was cry his heart out,what was wrong? where did i miss it? He sat up and thought about it but he didn't commit any sin that will take away the presence of God from his life he wondered? He muttered a few words of prayers and tried to sleep then he heard a loud voice "DISOBEDIENCE". How will common disobedience take away the presence of God? he has been given several instructions from God which he has neglected he didn't know disobedience could deprive him of God's presence, all he could do was go on his knees cried unto God and ask for mercy, then he obeyed. Like this Man, have you been disobeying God and it just looks like mere disobedience? don't wait until God's presence depart from you before you obey Obedience is better than sacrifice.

The wonderful wonder

There was an old man nicknamed smart, he has a son that was sick and later died of the sickness. One of the popular herbalist was sent for at the other village to help them raise the child, when he arrived, they pleased with him to help them see to it. The man laughed and told them not to worry that in few minutes, the boy would come back to life. The herbalist made incantations from morning to evening to bring back the deceased, all was to no avail, fortunately, a young man of God was passing by, when he saw how much people gathered, he moved close to them to see what was happening. After they narrated everything to him he said"all power in heaven and on earth has been given to Jesus, if you believe you would see the power of God". Then he stopped down beside the boy, and said," son, rise up" and he rose up immediately. All the people shouted for joy and they gave glory to the name of God in the highest.
